How Do I Reset My Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Methods

To update, add or remove your MFA methods, please navigate to sign in to the Global Royalty Portal (GRP).

 

Before You Start

  • You must be able to sign in using at least one existing MFA method
  • If you are unable to sign in using one of the existing MFA methods, this will need to be reset by a system administrator. For further assistance, contact us.

 

Step 1: Sign In 

On the sign in screen, enter your email address associated with your GRP account & select “Continue”.

 

Step 2: Enter Your Password

  1. Enter your password
  2. Select “Continue”

 

Step 3: Select MFA 

Select an existing MFA method 

 

Step 4: Enter One-Time Verification Code

  1. Enter the 6 digit verification code you receive
  2. Select “Verify”
  3. If you did not receive the verification code, select “Resend Code”

 

Step 5: Open MFA Settings

Once you have successfully entered the verification code, you will be signed in. To manage your MFA methods, click “Manage Authentication Methods”

Step 6: Manage MFA Methods

In order to update, add or remove your MFA methods, you will need to complete your existing MFA again. Once you have completed MFA, you will be able to make updates to your MFA methods.

 

*Please note: if you have only 1 MFA method set up, we recommend setting up a new MFA method before removing the existing MFA.

 

Step 7: Add New MFA Method

Select the desired MFA method and click “Setup”.

 

Step 8: Confirmation of New MFA Method Added 

Once you have successfully set up the new MFA method, you will be taken back to the Manage MFA screen. You can either add an additional MFA method or complete setup.

 

Step 9: Remove MFA Method

To remove an enabled MFA Method, ensure you have clicked “Complete Setup”. You will then be directed back to the Manage MFA screen where you will see the MFA Methods you have set up:

1. Select “Remove” next to the method you no longer want to use.

2. Click “Remove” for the MFA Method selected

 

Step 10: Confirmation of MFA Method Removal 

Once you have successfully removed the MFA Method, you will be directed back to the Manage MFA screen. Next time you login to GRP, the updated MFA Methods will be available to you. From here, you can either:

  1. Remove an additional MFA Method
  2. Re-add an MFA Method
  3. Return to GRP by clicking “Back to homepage”
